Glenn Edward Wondra, 88

Glenn Edward Wondra, 88, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019, at Traditions of Montgomery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 25 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Funeral services will be on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 11 a.m. with visitation one-hour prior, all at the funeral home, with Father George Grafsky officiating. Interment will be at Bohemian National Cemetery in Montgomery. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Lions Gift of Sight.

Betty Marie Sapp, 91

Betty Marie Sapp was born to John George Wohlers and Amelia Margaret Wittman, September 8, 1927, in the Wohlers’ farmhouse east of Le Center, Minnesota.  She was a baptized and confirmed member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in LeCenter. She attended country school through second grade. When her oldest sister, Ruth, started high school, Betty began attending school in town. She graduated from McKinley High School in 1945.

Robert Lawrence Dvorak, 93

Robert Lawrence Dvorak, 93, of Montgomery, died on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2019, at Mala Strana Health Care in New Prague. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 5, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with Memorial Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:30 a.m., all at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Most Holy Redeemer Catholic School blessed be his memory.

Franklin (Frank) George Breen, 81

Franklin (Frank) George Breen, 81, of Montgomery, died on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019, at Augustana Lakeside Community Home in Dassel. Visitation was held on Friday, August 23, 10 a.m. to 12 noon with funeral service following at 12 noon, all at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Interment will be at a later date.

Blanche (Maxa) Sorenson, 86

Blanche (Maxa) Sorenson, 86, of Montgomery, died peacefully Sunday, Aug. 25, 2019, in her apartment at Traditions of Montgomery. Her daughter and her best friend, Carol Kotasek were with her at the time.
Visitation will be at St. John’s Lutheran Church of Montgomery on Saturday, Sept. 7, at 10 a.m. Church service is at 11 a.m., followed by a luncheon.

Catherine (Rathmanner) Herrmann, 80

Catherine Herrmann (Rathmanner) left this world peacefully on August 22, 2019, at the age of 80, surrounded by her family.
Visitation will be Monday, Aug. 26, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery, and one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 11 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery with Father Tom officiating. Private family interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.

Zachary Pumper “Zac”, 34

Zachary Pumper “Zac” age 34 of Savage, formerly of New Prague passed away unexpectedly in a construction accident on August 19, 2019. Zac was a graduate of New Prague High School, and was working with Adolfson and Peterson Construction Company. He is survived by his loving wife Nicole, children Jameson Theodore and Paisley Grace Pumper; parents, Loren and Mary Pumper; brother Kirby (Larry) and sister, Andrea pumper. Father-in-law Roy Zimmer; Mother-in-law Kelly Zimmer; Sister-in-law Brittany Zimmer and nephew Kilian.

Ronald John Tupy, age 70 of Montgomery died peacefully Sunday morning, August 18th, 2019 at Our Lady of Peace Residence in St. Paul Minnesota. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 23rd at Holy Redeemer Church, 206 Vine Ave. W., Montgomery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22nd from 4pm-8pm at the White Funeral Home in Lonsdale and will continue one hour prior to the funeral, at Holy Redeemer Church in Montgomery. A man with a big heart, who brought joy, laughter and love to so many, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 17.
Wolodymyr “Walter” Procenko, 81, of Champlin, formerly of Montgomery, spent his final days with family by his side at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park.
Funeral services will be held at St. John Lutheran Church of Montgomery on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 11:30 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. at the church.

George Marvin Korbel Jr., 80

George Marvin Korbel Jr., age 80, of Kilkenny, died on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 18 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with Holy Redeemer Knights of Columbus service at 6:30 at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 19 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery with Father Tom Niehause officiating with visitation one hour prior at the church. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.
