Delores G. “Dee” Heyda, age 90, of Faribault, passed away on October 31, 2024, at Milestone Senior Living.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Faribault, on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 10:30 a.m.  Interment will be at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault. 

A memorial visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church.

Arrangements are being completed by Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault.

Delores Georgina, daughter of Frank and Julia (Pavek) Malecha, was born on September 9, 1934, in Veseli.  Delores married Milo Heyda, on November 10, 1951, in Montgomery.  He preceded her in death in 2014.  After raising their four children, Judy, Michael, Michele and Jennifer, she worked as a housekeeper in private homes and at KFC. She enjoyed baking, going on walks, dancing and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Judy Pike of IA, Michael (Sheri) Heyda of MN, Michele McShane of AZ and Jennifer (Ted) Bauer of TX; grandchildren, Kyle (Stacey) Pike, Kelly (Taylor) Martin, Sonja (Jake) Jensen, Sandy (Roger) Monk, Stacy (Pete) Dupont, Samantha Heyda (Joe Bennett), Derek (Amanda) Heyda, Bridget (Jerrin) Woodrow, Jordan McShane, Montgomery Bauer and Claire (Cameron) Wiltfong; 21 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Benjamin (Carole) Heyda; other relatives and friends. 

Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Julia Malecha; husband, Milo; great-great-granddaughter, Olivia and siblings, Adeline Lapec, Stella Carpenter, Marion Hruza, Lorraine Kimber and Frank Malecha and son-in-law, Jerald Pike.
